SOUTH JORDAN — Police are searching for a man with depression and bipolar disorder who went missing Feb. 18 after leaving his home in South Jordan.

Hector Jose Acero, 24, was last seen leaving his home and driving a gray 2004 Ford Escape with Utah license plate F193BL, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Identification.

He has been missing for nearly six days, and authorities believe him to be endangered.

Officials described Acero as a Hispanic male with dark skin, brown eyes and black hair. He is 5 feet 10 inches and 172 pounds.
