AMERICAN FORK — One man is dead following a crash in American Fork, officials said.
The crash took place near 700 E. State Street just after 5:30 p.m., American Fork Police Sgt. Josh Christensen said.
A motorcycle crashed into the side of a car at the intersection. The driver of the motorcycle, an adult man, was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other injuries in the crash.
State Street was temporarily closed from 500 East to 1100 East.
The identity of the man killed was not released because officials were still notifying his family members, Christensen said.
