SOUTH SALT LAKE — Three people were hospitalized after being stabbed near a convenience store late Friday night, South Salt Lake police said.

Shortly before midnight, police received a report of a stabbing at 7-Eleven located at 2102 South State Street.

"Arriving officers discovered three victims with apparent stab wounds, two males and one female," South Salt Lake Police Sgt. Matthew Oehler said in a news release.

The three victims were transported to area hospitals. Oehler said two of the victims were in stable condition and one in critical. By 4 p.m. Saturday, all three people had been released from the hospital, Oehler said.

None of their injuries were life-threatening, he said.
