WEST BOUNTIFUL — A West Bountiful man got four juveniles drunk during a Halloween party at his home, then raped one of them multiple times and kept her in a bedroom against her will, police said.

Justin Dee Robinson, 40, allegedly raped the 17-year-old girl first in a bathroom and later in a bedroom of his home near Jessi's Meadow Drive and Jessi's Meadow Way between late Saturday and early Sunday.

Robinson was arrested Monday evening and booked into the Davis County Jail for investigation of rape, sodomy, kidnapping, forcible sexual abuse and other alleged offenses.

The girl and three juvenile boys became drunk at the party from alcohol provided by Robinson, who was the only adult there, West Bountiful police said. The girl passed out from drinking and later woke up in the bathroom to see Robinson on top of her and touching her, according to Davis County Jail records. He allegedly performed multiple sex acts on the girl.

"She asked him several times to stop, but he refused," Robinson's jail report states.

Robinson allegedly took the girl to a bedroom and again performed sex acts on the teen.

"She said she told him several times to get off her, but he wouldn't," the jail report says. "She said (Robinson) finally got off her and she tried to leave the room, but he pushed her up against the wall and wouldn't let her leave."

Robinson then slept on the floor just outside the bedroom while keeping guard to make sure the girl couldn't leave, said West Bountiful Police Chief Todd Hixson. The chief didn't know the exact timeline of events but said the alleged rapes occurred between 11:30 p.m. and 4 a.m., and that the girl was in the bedroom against her will for hours.

Eventually, one of the juveniles who had noticed what happened "was able to go in and sneak her out of the house," Hixson said.

"It's a horrible crime, and our hearts are breaking for the victim and the family," he said. "It's just … sad."

The teen was examined at a hospital, where "evidence of trauma was observed," the jail report states. Police are now investigating the possibility of previous victims, according to Hixson.

A search of court records shows Robinson has no significant criminal history in Utah.
