RIVERDALE — A suspect is in custody after the body of a 25-year-old man was found on the Riverdale Parkway Trail early Sunday morning. The victim had a gunshot wound, Riverdale Police said.
The victim's name was not released because police were having difficulty locating next of kin, a press release from Riverdale Police said.
The suspect, Luciano Silva, 20, of Riverdale, was arrested on possible charges of murder and obstruction of justice and was booked into the Weber County Jail.The Weber Morgan Homicide Task Force assisted Riverdale Police Department in investigating leads that led to the suspect's arrest. Police said they questioned multiple people about the incident.
