SALT LAKE CITY — Someone robbed a gas station clerk at gunpoint, and police are trying to determine if it was the "gray hoodie" robber linked with a number of other crimes.
Police said a thin man in his 20s approached the clerk at the Shell gas station at 2112 E. 2100 South around 11 p.m. Sunday. The man was carrying a gun and demanded cash.
The clerk handed it over and the man fled southbound.
Officers said the robber wore a dark coat, gloves, and his face was covered.
They are investigating whether this robber also could have been involved in a number of armed robberies this past month.
