ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Baylor quarterback Charlie Brewer didn't play the second half of the Big 12 championship game against Oklahoma. He had initially stayed in the game after he bulled over an Oklahoma defender early in the second quarter Saturday. Brewer put his shoulder down and knocked nickel back Brendan Radley-Hiles back and to the ground. The referee announced that Radley-Hiles was being removed from the game then for a potential head injury. Brewer finished that series and played one more before Gerry Bohanon took over at quarterback. It was announced at halftime that Brewer was done for the game.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Rhamondre Stevenson had a 5-yard touchdown run in overtime and No. 6 Oklahoma is likely going back to the playoff after a 30-23 win over No. 8 Baylor in the Big 12 championship game. The Sooners won their fifth Big 12 title in a row and 13th overall. This would be the fourth time in five years to get into the College Football Playoff. No. 5 Utah lost the Pac-12 title game before No. 4 Georgia lost 37-10 to No. 1 LSU in the SEC. Oklahoma beat surprising Baylor in a close game for the second time in four weeks.

UNDATED (AP) — Picking the four teams to play in the College Football Playoff will be easy for the selection committee. Who is No. 1? There could be a lot of discussion about that Saturday night in that resort hotel in Grapevine, Texas, where the 13-member committee meets. LSU made its case for the top spot, thumping Georgia in the Southeastern Conference title game. Ohio State finished with a kick against Wisconsin. Clemson dominated again. The field will be set Sunday at noon Eastern.

WACO, Texas (AP) — MaCio Teague scored 19 points, Freddie Gillespie had 17 points and 13 rebounds and No. 18 Baylor handed 12th-ranked Arizona its first loss, 63-58. Admission was free at Baylor's campus arena with the Bears playing in Oklahoma the Big 12 football championship game. The title game started about the same time 100 miles north of Waco at the home of the Dallas Cowboys. It was supposed to be the first true road game for the Wildcats, but their fans might have outnumbered the Baylor contingent. Baylor ended Arizona's 52-game home winning streak last December.

NEW YORK (AP) — Rasheen Dunn scored nine of his 13 points in the second half including the winning free throws with five seconds remaining and St. John's handed West Virginia its first defeat, 70-68, in Madison Square Garden for the Red Storm's fourth straight win. Dunn shot only 3 of 11 from the floor, missing his four attempts from the arc, but made all seven of his free throws, including the final two.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Markus Howard had 19 points, Jamal Cain scored 17, and Marquette beat Kansas State 73-65. Sacar Anim added 13 points for Marquette.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Taylor Robertson scored 21 points, Ana Llanusa added 20 and Oklahoma won for the first time in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, drubbing No. 25 LSU 90-68. Mandy Simpson scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Sooners. Madi Williams had 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting for Oklahoma, which made 10 of 17 3-pointers and shot 55% for the game. Khayla Pointer had 24 points to lead the Tiger, who had their seven-game winning streak snapped. Ayana Mitchell added 20 points on 10-for-10 shooting.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Chennedy Carter scored a season-high 31 points, Kayla Wells added a season-best 22, and No. 12 Texas A&M beat Oklahoma State 74-62 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Carter, a 5-foot-7 junior guard, has 1,671 career points and moved past Danielle Gant (1,645 points from 2005-09) into fourth on Texas A&M's scoring list.
