SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say have not given up on solving the 2010 stabbing death of a bookstore owner who is mother-in-law of a Utah Jazz executive.
South Salt Lake Police said Monday in a news release that they continue to search for the person who fatally stabbed 64-year-old Sherry Black.
Black is the mother-in-law of Greg Miller, the former CEO of the company that owns the Utah Jazz.
Police say they believe killer is a man based on blood found at the crime scene. A DNA profile derived from that blood was sent to a national FBI database.
A $50,000 reward remains in place for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
Black's husband found her dead in her B&W Billiards and Books on Nov. 30, 2010.
