MAYFIELD, Sanpete County — A tragic accident killed a man while he was baling hay at his home Sunday morning in Mayfield.
The Sanpete County Sheriff's Office confirmed the death on Monday and identified that man as Kent Sorensen. Sorensen was working on a piece of equipment on his farm Sunday when his tractor rolled over him, the sheriff's office wrote in a statement.
"The Sorensen family is deeply rooted in the community and their loss will be deeply felt," the statement said.
But investigators did not release any details about the accident Monday.
