SALT LAKE CITY — It seems it's almost a requirement these days that you must have a Twitter account to be taken seriously. Everyone from your plumber to your accountant to the President of the United States is on Twitter.

It can be an amazing tool or a total waste of time, but legendary coach Phil Jackson is still trying to figure out what his is.

Phil Jackson joins Twitter and immediately fails; Ryan Lochte has a TV show

Jackson joined Twitter on March 27, and before he had sent out one tweet he had over 40,000 followers. Pretty impressive. Then he decided to tweet, which didn't go quite as well as he had probably hoped.

This is exactly what Jackson's first tweet read: "11 champ;ipnsikp[ ringhs."

You can never get after the guy for not trying. As of Thursday morning of March 28, the tweet had been retweeted more than 21,000 times and favorited over 9,000 times.

You know what the best part of this whole thing is? Jackson now has over 126,000 followers and his only tweet is still, "11 champ;ipnsikp[ ringhs."

The dude didn't try to erase it or throw up a new one; he just stuck to his guns. Truth is, there is only one of two possibilities: the coach either doesn't care one bit what anyone thinks or he's the most brilliant social media strategist of all time. You make the call.

What Would Ryan Lochte Do?

Olympic-champion swimmer Ryan Lochte has a new reality show headed to E! When I first heard Lochte was getting a reality show I thought it would be based around his intense training schedule, then I heard it was on E!, and realized I was wrong.

Following in the footsteps of the networks other shows like "Keeping up With the Kardashians" and "Ice Loves Coco", the new show "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" is a whole bunch of staged drama and the ridiculousness that we've been lead to believe is the lifestyle of a star.

The four-and-half-minute trailer for the new show will make you hate, love, and at times, feel sorry for the swimmer. But don't feel too sorry, because when another girl denies him he can go home and weep into his money and gold medals.

Truth be told, I can't figure out if this trailer makes me like him more or less. Thanks for confusing me once again E!

Best Retirement Announcement Ever

Defensive tackle Anthony Adams took to YouTube to announce his retirement from the NFL.

Adams played for Penn State and was drafted by the 49ers in 2003. He then went to the Chicago Bears in 2007. Maybe you've never heard of Adams, but the guy was a beast on the line and a tough player for any running back to get through.

In the announcement video, Adams pokes fun at himself, and I couldn't help but laugh out loud. I'll let you watch it and not spoil anything, but I plan on visiting as many White Castle restaurants as possible.
