WASHINGTON (AP) — Kawhi Leonard is sitting out as the Toronto Raptors play on a second consecutive night.

Leonard did not travel with the Raptors to the nation's capital for their game at the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.

He had 31 points and 10 rebounds while playing 36 minutes in Toronto's 113-101 victory over the visiting Boston Celtics on Friday.

Leonard played in only nine games for the San Antonio Spurs last season, mostly because of a quadriceps injury.

Toronto acquired him in an offseason trade that sent DeMar DeRozan to San Antonio.

The Wizards are also without their main offseason pickup, center Dwight Howard, who is missing a second game in a row with a sore backside.

But Washington coach Scott Brooks said that point guard John Wall is ready to play, despite missing the morning shootaround because of a migraine.
