Talking to your kids about money management can sometimes be a difficult topic to bring up. Rachel Cruze, Financial Expert, author of "Smart Money Smart Kids", and Dave Ramsey's daughter offers some easy ideas.
-Make the lessons age appropriate -It's never too early or too late to teach your kids about money. -What you teach a 6 and a 16 year old will look different.
Four main things to teach kids
1. Work: Kids need to make the work-money connection.
2. Give: Giving is the most fun you can have with money. Start this habit early.
3. Save: Its important kids realize delayed pleasure by saving up for purchases.
4. Spend: Kids need to have a little fun with the money they earn.
And you need to be an example, because your kids are watching you.
