Have you ever wanted to add your own air guitar riffs to your favorite rock song? KSL's Jay McFarland says that with Samsung's new patent, music fans may actually be able to virtually play instruments. There is no word from the mobile giant if the technology is past the patent stage, but if the product makes it to market, music fans will be able to their air guitar jams to new heights.

In a world of texts and social media posts, receiving an old fashioned phone call on a mobile device can be confusing. The Say What Dialer app for Android hopes to simplify the decision on whether or not to answer a call. Users can add a subject line to their phone call, like 'urgent' or 'casual', and the receiver can see the reason for the call.

There is a lot of interest in 3D-printing, but not many people are buying expensive, bulky devices. This new pen may change that. It's called the 3Doodler and it brings your drawings to life.
