Bareback bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling and $1 million in prizes. Needless to say, this year's Days of '47 Cowboy Games & Rodeo will attract cowboys from all over, be full of exhilarating wins and devastating losses, have to-die-for ribs, petting zoos and, overall, fun for the entire family.
The Days of '47 Rodeo is a 150-year-old Utah tradition that commemorates the day — July 24, 1847 — when a company of Mormon pioneers first set foot into the Great Salt Valley. And since then, Utahns have been celebrating Pioneer Day in their honor.
If you can't make it this year in person, don't put away your dungarees in defeat because there's great news.
For the first time in Days of '47 Rodeo history, you are now able to stream the games.
Where should I go to stream it?
Right here, on KSL.com. The games start tomorrow, July 19, at 7 pm so save this link for easy access to rodeo fun.
