JOSEPH, Sevier County — A motorcyclist died Thursday on I-70 near the Elsinore Interchange, Utah Highway Patrol troopers said in a tweet.
Raymond J. Hutaff, 68, of Kula, Hawaii, was eastbound about 12:15 p.m. on I-70 when he went off the left shoulder, over two delineator posts and into the median, UHP said.
Hutaff, who was wearing a helmet, was fully ejected and died on scene.
Winds were blowing hard gusts up to 20 to 30 mph when he crashed and was being investigated as a factor in the wreck.
