ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — George Kiernan scored 17 points and Shawn Anderson scored 13 and Navy rallied at the end and beat Loyola (Md.) 62-56 on Saturday.

Brent Holcombe made back-to-back jumpers and Loyola led 54-47 with 4:27 left but shot just 1 of 4 and turned it over four times down the stretch while Navy used a 15-2 burst to close out the win.

Anderson's 4-point play and layup started the run and reduced Navy's deficit to a point with 2:56 left. Kiernan followed with a pair of free throws 30 seconds later and the Midshipmen (20-11, 11-7 Patriot) were never threatened.

Chuck Champion's basket with 19 seconds left made it 59-56 before Anderson's layup with 10 seconds left sealed it. Navy shot just 37 percent but landed eight 3-pointers and was 12-of-16 shooting from the free throw line.

Holcombe led the Greyhounds (8-21, 6-12) with 18 points and Champion grabbed nine rebounds and Loyola had a 41-35 rebounding edge.
