CHARLESTON, Ill. (AP) — Terrell Miller Jr. made four 3-pointers and scored 20 points with 12 rebounds and Murray State picked up its 10th straight victory with a 76-66 win over Eastern Illinois on Thursday night.
The Racers (23-5, 15-2) entered the night tied with Belmont for first in the Ohio Valley Conference. Murray State closes the regular season at Austin Peay on Saturday.
OVC scoring leader Jonathan Stark, Shaq Buchanan and Ja Morant all added 15 points each for Murray State.
Mack Smith also made four 3-pointers and scored 22 points — 17 in the first half — for the Panthers (10-18, 6-11) with Montell Goodwin adding 16 points and nine rebounds and Ray Crossland 13 points.
Miller scored 16 points in the first half when the Racers took a 44-36 lead. They led by as many as 16 in the second with the Panthers not getting closer than six.
