NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Amanze Egekeze hit six 3-pointers and scored a career-high 26 points and Belmont won its eighth straight with a 77-60 win over Jacksonville State on Thursday night.

Evan Bradds finished with 24 points for the Bruins (12-4, 6-0 Ohio Valley), who have won eight of their last nine against Jacksonville State. Egekeze and Bradds each added 10 and 13 rebounds, respectively.

Norbertas Giga and Ashton Spears each scored 10 points for the Gamecocks (12-9, 4-2). Jacksonville State made just 22 of their 60 shot attempts (36.7 percent) and 3 of 16 from deep.

Belmont led by double-digits late in the first half before settling on a 35-27 lead at the break. A Bradds layup pushed the Bruins advantage to 16-points, 49-33, with 14:13 left and another Bradds lay-in made it 59-38.

The Gamecocks never seriously challenged the rest of the way.
