RENO, Nev. (AP) — Caleb and Cody Martin, the 6-foot-7 twin brothers who played basketball at North Carolina State last season, are transferring to Nevada.

Cody Martin told the Reno Gazette-Journal (http://tinyurl.com/z82wan6) they committed Wednesday because they liked Nevada's fast-paced attack under first-year coach Eric Musselman, and believe the program is on the rise.

The brothers announced their plans to leave North Carolina State in March.

Caleb Martin averaged 11.5 points and 4.7 rebounds while averaging about 30 minutes of play per game last season. Cody Martin averaged 6 points and 4.4 rebounds over about 26 minutes a game.

The two will have to sit out next season but will have two years of eligibility remaining starting in the 2017-18 season.

Nevada, of the Mountain West Conference, capped a 24-14 season last year by winning the Collegiate Basketball Invitational.
