KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Kendrick Ray scored 25 points, Yonel Brown added 22 and Kennesaw State beat North Florida 101-91 on Thursday night.

Ray was 9 of 13 with eight rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Owls (8-18, 4-6 Atlantic Sun). Brown was 8 of 16 from the field with three 3-pointers. Aubrey Williams had 20 points off the bench, making 8 of 9 free throws, and Nigel Pruitt added 15 points. Kennesaw State shot over 54 percent and made 22 of 27 from the line.

North Florida (18-9, 7-3) was led by Demarcus Daniels with 21 points. Trent Mackey scored 18 points, Beau Beech had 17, Dallas Moore had 15 points with seven assists and Chris Davenport added 14 points and seven boards. The Ospreys shot over 56 percent and made 12 of 27 from beyond the arc.

Beech made a pair from the line to draw North Florida within six with 47 seconds left, but Kennesaw State made 6 of 8 free throws down the stretch.
