CEDAR PARK, Texas (AP) — Christen Inman scored a career-high 28 points, Nia Coffey added 17 and Ashley Deary scored 13 with 10 steals and seven assists to lead the No. 19 Northwestern women past Eastern Washington 74-70 Thursday at the Lone Star Showcase.

Maggie Lyon added 10 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots for Northwestern (4-0). Deary's 10 steals were the second most in a women's Division I game this season.

Hayley Hodgins hit a 3-pointer to pull Eastern Washington (3-2) within three, 70-67, with 3:19 remaining but a bucket by Inman and two free throws by Jordan Hankins made it 74-67 with 23 seconds left and the Wildcats held on from there.

The Eagles missed four of their final five shots and committed three of their season-high 25 turnovers in the final three minutes.

Hodgins scored 24 for Eastern Washington. Ashli Payne added 17 and Tisha Phillips scored 15, both career highs.
