SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Freshman Trey Wertz scored 11 of his 28 points in the second overtime, Josip Vrankic had a career-high 22 points and Santa Clara held on after blowing a 19-point lead in regulation, beating Southern California 102-92. Tahj Eaddy added 21 points and eight assists, Willie Caruso had 12 points and Josh Martin grabbed 18 rebounds for Santa Clara (6-6).

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — Oscar Da Silva scored a career-high 23 points to go with 10 rebounds, KZ Okpala added 25 points and Stanford beat San Jose State 78-73. Daejon Davis added 14 points and eight assists for the Cardinal (6-4), who have won four of their last five. Michael Steadman had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Oumar Barry added 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Spartans (3-7).

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Top-ranked Kansas and No. 14 Buffalo hit the road to face ranked opponents as part of the week's AP Top 25 schedule. There are several tests ahead for ranked teams, including No. 2 Duke facing No. 12 Texas Tech in New York. Ninth-ranked North Carolina will also play No. 19 Kentucky in Chicago. In addition, Oklahoma and North Carolina State could join next week's poll with a couple of wins this week.
