FRISCO, Texas (AP) — A couple were finally engaged after an airline lost their luggage that had the engagement ring inside.
Ben Adams and Elizabeth Kahle were returning from Europe when their Iceland-based WOW flight to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport was re-routed to Kennedy airport in New York. They took a Delta flight to Kahle's Texas home, but their luggage was misplaced.
Adams tells WFAA-TV their bags got sent to Boston, and the airline shipped them to Texas.
Adams finally got down on one knee Wednesday night and placed the ring on Kahle's finger.
She yelled, "We're engaged!"
