PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A street shooting in Philadelphia wounded a pregnant woman and her father on her wedding day, and authorities are seeking the ex-wife of her new husband along with two men.
Lt. John Walker says the 23-year-old woman, who is about five months pregnant with twins, was married earlier Sunday, and that the groom's ex-wife saw a social media post about the wedding.
At least two men pulled guns and opened fire at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday on a street in southwest Philadelphia.
Walker says the woman's 74-year-old father jumped in front of his daughter and was critically wounded. The woman was hit twice but is in stable condition. The lieutenant says her pregnancy hasn't been affected.
