BENJAMIN, Utah (AP) — Authorities say a Utah jail sergeant has been killed in an apparent murder-suicide.
KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2n2KiEN ) that Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon said Friday that the man was found Friday at a house in the tiny town of Benjamin outside of Spanish Fork. Officers were called and found a second man dead outside the home.
Cannon says the incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide. He didn't reveal the nature of the relationship between the men.
Salt Lake County Sheriff Jim Winder says the sergeant worked at the county jail and had been with the agency for a long time.
