SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Three people have died on Interstate 70 in Utah on their way to a family reunion in Colorado.
The pickup truck carrying the three people veered into a median and crashed on I-70 Wednesday afternoon.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce says the 77-year-old male driver, his 76-year-old wife and a 70-year old female relative were killed.
The relative was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver and his wife were taken to the hospital, where they died.
Royce says the cause of the crash is unknown.
All three began their trip in Las Vegas and were going to Colorado for a family reunion.
The names of the victims have not yet been released.
