LOGAN — Police have identified a woman who died in a car crash on Monday that left another man injured, police said.

The collision occurred about 1 p.m. when a white car southbound on 1000 West turned left in front of an SUV at 1000 South, Logan police said in a news release. Lola Thalman, 81, died in the crash, according to a Facebook post from Logan police. Thalman was from Cache Valley, police said.

Thalman was a passenger in the white car and died from her injuries, police said. The driver of the car, an elderly man, was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Neither the SUV’s driver nor its passenger suffered injuries that were considered to be life-threatening, police said.

The crash is under investigation.
