CHICAGO (AP) — Tiffany Hayes scored 22 points and the Atlanta Dream never trailed as they breezed to an 81-63 victory Wednesday over the Chicago Sky on Wednesday afternoon for their first victory of the season.

The Dream (1-1) recovered from a season-opening 101-78 drubbing against the Dallas Wings and maintained control of this game from start to finish.

Hayes led the way by shooting 4 of 6 from 3-point range. She made more 3-pointers than the entire Chicago Sky roster, which went 3 of 14 from beyond the arc.

Brittney Sykes scored 13 points, Elizabeth Williams had 11 and Angel McCoughtry added 10 for the Dream. Jessica Breland scored just four points but had 10 boards for Atlanta, which outrebounded the Sky 41-28.

Allie Quigley had 13 points to lead the Sky (2-1). She was the only Chicago player to reach double figures as the Sky shot just 36.8 percent (25 of 68).
