ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions say tight end Tim Wright has a torn anterior cruciate ligament and has been put on injured reserve.

Detroit acquired Wright in 2015 in a trade from Tampa Bay. He appeared in nine games for the Lions last season, making one start, and he caught nine passes for 77 yards and two touchdowns.

The Lions announced Wright's injury status Tuesday.

For his career, Wright has started 11 of his 41 games. He has 89 receptions for 907 yards and 13 touchdowns.
