In our world today, sometimes the best and easiest way to teach our kids is through the technology they love. That's the idea behind the app Articulation Station created by Little Bee Speech.
Utah couple Heidi and Chris Hanks put the app together with the help of Mark Suman who developed the app. Heidi realized how much technology like an iPad or an iPhone could be used to help kids with special needs.
As a trained Speech-Language Pathologist, Heidi created Little Bee Speech in 2004 as she worked with kids from ages 3-14 on various speech and language issues.
The first app, Articulation Station went into the Apple App Store in 2011, and Articulation Station Pro went live a short time later.
This is an app that parents, teachers, and therapists all use to help kids communicate better.
