PROVO — BYU starting running back Jamaal Williams was not expected to be a huge focal point of the Cougars' offense this season, though his potential excited fans for future seasons.
However, starting running back Michael Alisa suffered an arm injury, vaulting the 17-year-old freshman into action. So far, the returns on Williams have been promising.
