Lions hire QB coach Brian Callahan, former Broncos assistant

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have hired quarterbacks coach Brian Callahan.

They made the move Monday.

Callahan was an offensive assistant and quarterbacks coach with the Denver Broncos last season, his sixth with the franchise. He was an assistant coach at Serra High School in California and a graduate assistant at UCLA before being hired by the Broncos in 2010.
