UNDATED (AP) — Top-ranked UConn and Oregon State filled out the final spots in the Women's Final Four last night. The 36-0 UConn women eliminated Texas 86-65 to win the East Regional and Oregon State captured the Dallas Regional by beating Baylor 60-57. They join Washington and Syracuse in the women's Final Four starting Sunday in Indianapolis

CLEVELAND (AP) — LeBron James is getting tonight off when Cleveland hosts Houston in NBA play. Coach Tyronn Lue (LOO) has decided to give his 31-year-old superstar some rest as the as the Cavaliers start to gear up for the playoffs with a three-game lead in the East over Toronto. Cleveland is 1-2 in games the Cavs rested James.

NEW YORK (AP) —Valparaiso (val-pur-AY'-zoh) tries for its 30th victory when it takes on 26-10 BYU in one semifinal of the National Invitation Tournament tonight in Madison Square Garden. In the second game, George Washington tries to make its first appearance in an NIT semifinal a winning one when the Colonials play 28-9 San Diego State. The NIT championship is Thursday night.

WASHINGTON (AP)— Tom Wilson atoned for two penalties by scoring the winning goal early in the third period as the Washington Capitals clinched the Presidents' Trophy by beating the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1. The Caps will have home-ice advantage for as long as they are in the playoffs.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — If the United States loses to Guatemala tonight in Columbus, the Americans almost certainly would fail to qualify for the 2018 World Cup. After playing in seven straight World Cups, the Americans put their streak in jeopardy with a listless 2-0 loss Friday night in Guatemala City.
