KUWAIT CITY (AP) — Qatar has been chosen to host the 2018 gymnastics world championships.
The International Gymnastics Federation says Doha will host the event, but the proposed Oct. 12-28 dates must be confirmed later.
Doha was the only candidate.
Qatar will also host the handball worlds next January and football's World Cup in 2022.
