NAGOYA, Japan (AP) — Japan took six of 18 singles matches on Sunday to capture the inaugural Queens match-play tournament between teams from different women's golf tours,

The Japan LPGA team went into the final round with an eight-point lead over the Korean LPGA, and Misuzu Narita got the home team off to a winning start with a 6 and 5 win over Europe's Catriona Matthew.

Akane Iijima, Erika Kikuchi, Ayaka Watanabe also won their singles matches for the hosts on the final day along with Ritsuko Ryu and Miki Sakai.

Japan finished with 41 points, ahead of Korea on 38, the Ladies European Tour team on 12 and the Australia Ladies Professional Golf team with seven.
