RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Teams in the AP Top 25 are down to their final chances to make their case for high seeds in the NCAA Tournament. Conference tournaments could set up marquee matchups this week to boost the best postseason resumes with Selection Sunday looming at the end of the week. The list includes three top-five teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference and three top-10 teams in the Southeastern Conference.

UNDATED (AP) — Wofford made plenty of NCAA Tournament at-large candidates nervous before doing them all a favor. The 20th-ranked Terriers trailed most of the way before outlasting UNC Greensboro 70-58 in the Southern Conference Tournament championship game. A Wofford loss may have reduced the number of NCAA Tournament at-large spots for teams on the bubble.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — No. 6 Michigan State expects standout forward Nick Ward to play in the Big Ten Tournament later this week. Coach Tom Izzo says he isn't sure how many minutes the 6-foot-9 junior will be able to play nearly a month after having surgery on his left hand. The top-seeded Spartans will face the winner of the Ohio State-Indiana in the conference quarterfinals. Ward is Michigan State's second-leading scorer and third-leading rebounder.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann says star center Kaleb Wesson will play in the Big Ten tournament. The 6-foot-9, 270-pound sophomore was the team's leading scorer and rebounder when he was suspended March 1 for an unspecified violation of athletic department policy. Without him, Ohio State lost its last three regular-season games. Ohio State opens tournament play against Indiana

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Urban Meyer is headed back to television. Fox announced that it has hired the former Ohio State coach as one of the analysts for the network's retooled college football pregame show. Fox also announced that it has hired Reggie Bush and will move Brady Quinn from the booth to the studio.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Gonzaga, Virginia and North Carolina remain 1-2-3 atop an otherwise reshuffled top 10 in the latest AP Top 25 men's college basketball poll. The Zags sit on top for a third straight week, earning 41 of 64 first-place votes on Monday. The Cavaliers earned the remaining 23 first-place votes. Kentucky and Duke round out the top five. Auburn is the only addition at No. 22, replacing UCF in the poll.

NEW YORK (AP) — Baylor maintained its spot as the unanimous No. 1 choice in The Associated Press women's basketball poll. The Lady Bears, who have been atop the rankings for seven weeks, received all 28 first-place votes from a national media panel. UConn, Notre Dame, Mississippi State and Louisville round out the first five. No. 8 Iowa has its highest ranking since 1996

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska running back Maurice Washington has turned himself in to California authorities. He faces felony and misdemeanor charges related to possession and distribution of a video of his former girlfriend allegedly being sexually assaulted by two other people in 2016. A Santa Clara County sheriff's spokesman in San Jose says Washington surrendered at about 7 a.m. and bailed out shortly after that. Washington is accused of sending video of the alleged assault to the girl in March 2018.
