CHENEY, Wash. (AP) — Tyler Harvey hit three 3-pointers, including the 200th of his career, and scored 16 points to lead Eastern Washington to a 65-57 win over Idaho State on Saturday.

Freshman Bogdan Bliznyuk led the Eagles (11-4, 2-0 Big Sky) with a career-high 17 points and Venky Jois had 16 points, eight rebounds and seven blocks, matching his career high and leaving him one from the school record of 153.

Felix Von Hofe had back-to-back 3-pointers following turnovers after the Bengals (3-11, 0-2) closed within 55-53 with 4:55 left.

Chris Hansen led Idaho State with 23 points and Jeffrey Solarin had 14 points and 12 rebounds. The Bengals had a 41-27 rebounding edge with 20 on the offensive end.

After a slow start, the Eagles used a 15-0 run to take a 24-17 lead. Harvey, the nation's leading scorer at 23.9 a game, had eight at half as EWU led 30-27.
