LAUSANNE, Switzerland — The International Golf Federation and LA Olympic organizers are making it official. Riviera is hosting the Olympics in 2028. Riviera has been preparing for this for more than a year. Los Angeles is hosting the Summer Games for the third time. This will be the first Olympics in LA with golf on the program. It was an easy choice. Riviera is among the best courses in the country and a favorite of PGA Tour players at the Genesis Invitational. Riviera will have the U.S. Women's Open in 2026, the Olympics in 2028 and the U.S. Open in 2031.
