SALT LAKE CITY -- An employee at a tire shop faces the prospect of some serious charges after a fight with a coworker that involved a pair of pliers and a pneumatic air tool. It happened Friday afternoon at the Big-O Tire on 300 W. 900 South.

Police say 31-year-old Sean Trembley held the victim by the neck with a pair of pliers and struck him with the air tool. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition but is expected to be OK.

Trembley was booked into jail on a felony aggravated assault charge.

Store employees declined comment, but one person familiar with the situation told KSL the victim initially tried to walk away from the fight. Trembley had been working at the shop for several months, the victim for a few weeks.
