HERRIMAN — A 20-year-old man was flown to the hospital Friday after a crash on Mountain View Corridor in Herriman, police say.

A Taylorsville police car was traveling north on Mountain View shortly before 7 a.m. when it collided with a silver car, according to Herriman Police Sgt. Greg Shaver. The car was traveling east on Porter Rockwell Blvd.

Two additional vehicles were also hit while they were stopped on Porter Rockwell Blvd.

The injured man, who was riding in the car, was flown to a hospital in critical condition, according to police. Other occupants in the car were treated for minor injuries on scene. Police did not say how many others were injured.

Police said northbound Mountain View Corridor would be rerouted for several hours and recommended drivers avoid the road coming up from Utah County.
