SPRINGVILLE, Utah (AP) -- A pipe factory that shut down Feb. 17 when an explosion tore through the plant will be back in business on Monday.
The Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. says it finished cleaning up and making repairs and expects to be operating at full capacity by midweek.
State workplace inspectors will be on hand to make sure the plant reopens safely. The explosion injured 10 workers.
The Utah Occupational Safety and Health Division is about two weeks from wrapping up an investigation that could result in company fines.
Plant spokesman John Balian says about 120 of the plant's 320 employees will be back at work Monday.
