(KSL News) The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is fining Murray Energy for safety violations at another Utah mine.
The Deseret Morning News reports that MHSA officials found dangerous quantities of "float coal dust" accumulated in the mine, posing a fire hazard. They have ordered Murray Energy, along with co-owner Intermountain Power Agency, to pay a $118,000 fine.
This is the second fine imposed against the companies by MHSA this year.
