American Fork Steel DaysAMERICAN FORK —The American Fork City "Steel Days" bring lots of summer fun for local families and visitors with a carnival, parade, fireworks, 5k race, and "Picnic in the Park."
The event was named after the city's World War II Columbia Steel plant which closed in November 2001. The annual summer celebration has been a community celebration since 1945, and continues to grow.
This year's big finale features, country girl band "SHeDAISY."
When: Friday and Saturday, July 20-21
Where: Robinson Park, 100 E. Main St.
Sundance Resort Bluebird Café Series
Every year Sundance brings a little bit of Nashville to Utah with a line up of singers, songwriters and musicians. The performances take place in the Eccles Stage Outdoor Ampitheater to give a refreshing feel for music lovers. This year, performances will be given by Lionel Cartwright, Mark Selby, and Tia Sillers.
When: Friday, July 20 at 8:00- 10:00 p.m.

Street Legal Series- Graffiti Drags
The Stags Car Club is presenting their graffiti drag races at the Rocky Mountain Raceways to find the fastest and hottest car. Three races will be held for experienced racers, Street Legal Hot Rods, and a Powder Puff for the ladies. A car show will also be held during the races.

Pioneer Day Commenoration Concert
The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra will present their annual concert celebrating the community-wide Pioneer Day celebrations. This year's concert will feature British singing sensation, Katherine Jenkins. The event is titled "Song of Joy" and will be conducted by Mack Wilberg, Music Director of the Choir. Tickets have been distributed, but a standby line will begin at the flagpole on Temple Square.
When: Friday and Saturday, July 20-21 at 8:00 p.m.
