PAROWAN -- A 19-year-old man from Kearns died Tuesday morning after he crashed into a concrete pillar.
Around 6:45 a.m. Eric Alexander Blair was driving northbound on I-15 near Parowan when for an unknown reason his vehicle ran off the roadway and slammed into a concrete pillar.
Blair was ejected from the vehicle and died on impact.
Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden told the Deseret News there was no immediate indication that alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash. He said because the crash happened at 6:45 a.m., fatigue could have been a factor.
Blair was the only person in the car.
