LOGAN — Flood warnings remain in effect Sunday in Cache, Weber and Uintah counties, along with several others, state officials said.

Logan has declared a state of emergency, as the Logan River continues to run above flooding levels, according to the Utah Division of Emergency Management. The river is running so high that it's hitting the bottom of a railroad bridge.

The Logan River Golf Course and walking trail have been closed due to a breach in the river bank that has flooded the course.

The Green River is running above flood stage near Jensen in Uintah County, causing minor flooding there. Minor flooding also is forecast near Green River.

A flood warning also is in place in Juab, Garfield Piute, Sanpete and Sevier counties, where the Sevier River is running just above flood levels.

In Weber County, the Weber River is running high, though shy of flooding levels. The Utah Department of Transportation is working with county crews to shore up both sides of the river.
