(KSL News) Smoke and flames engulfed the entire roof of a home in Farr West.
Fire was shooting from the house as fire officials arrived. Neighbors say they heard what sounded like an explosion and felt their homes shake right before they saw the fire.
They say the couple living in the home are on vacation, but their son was home at the time. He was able to escape but was flown to the hospital because of smoke inhalation.
There's no word yet how the fire began.
