(KSL News) Normal clean up duties at a welding shop were suddenly interupted by an explosion and fire.
Workers at US Welding, at 1049 S. Redwood Road, were cleaning up at the end of their shift when someone dropped an acetylene tank. That created a spark, then an explosion and a fire.
The fire was relatively small and fire crews got it under control rather quickly. Only one person was injured. He was treated at the scene for minor burns.
