PETERSON, Morgan County — A driver is dead following an accident on Interstate 84 in Morgan County on Wednesday. Lt. Cam Roden with Utah Highway Patrol confirmed the accident happened at approximately 10:45 a.m. on westbound lanes near Peterson. Multiple witnesses told police the driver swerved off the road and hit a cable barrier. The driver was taken by a helicopter but died at the hospital, Roden said. Roden said the driver was the only person in the car, and was wearing a seatbelt. Utah Highway Patrol was investigating the accident.
