GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — The youngest half-brother of late President Gerald Ford has died. He was 90.

Richard Ford's death Friday in Grand Rapids was disclosed by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation.

Gerald Ford had three half-brothers after his mother's second marriage. Marty Allen, a longtime family friend, tells The Grand Rapids Press (http://bit.ly/1OfNRjy ) that Richard Ford was a "relatively quiet person who was not interested in the limelight."

Richard Ford ran the family's paint company.

Gerald Ford died in 2006. He was a congressman from western Michigan before becoming vice president in 1973. He was president from August 1974 to 1977 after Richard Nixon's resignation.
