PALM COAST, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say an inmate at the Flagler County jail has died after suffering a seizure.

Flagler County Sheriff's officials say 57-year-old Kathleen Feiler was waiting for a hearing to be scheduled so a judge could determine whether she'd failed to comply with drug treatment. Authorities said Feiler was involuntarily hospitalized earlier this month and may have been abusing medication she was taking to treat anxiety.

Jail staff said she seemed fine when she arrived Saturday but noticed her making loud noises early Sunday morning. She appeared to be having a seizure and was unresponsive. Paramedics transported her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Body camera video taken by deputies from her arrest will be turned over to state law enforcement agents.
